Karuna has seen the Chalet Hotels brand through its growth journey as a key member of the core team for over 25 years, driving business expansion. Her core areas of expertise comprise guiding operators and self-run hotel teams towards cost optimization and self-sufficiency in terms of revenue. In addition to this, she also looks after maximizing the Company’s assets, compliance and assurances involving insurance, licenses and internal audits.

A Chartered Accountant by qualification, she has been associated with the K Raheja Group for over two decades across the real estate space. Karuna’s ear-to-the-ground outlook combined with exceptional people management skills make her one of the ‘go to’ people in the business. Prior to joining Chalet Hotels, she was working with Motorola JV for a brief period during her early days.
