Arthur William De Haast

Mr. Arthur de Haast holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Catering Management from the University of Strathclyde and has also been elected as a Life Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality. He is Chairman of the Global Capital Markets Advisory Council of JLL which provides advice on long term strategic matters that could influence the business, and undertakes specific projects related to the ongoing growth of Capital Markets. Mr. de Haast has over 36 years of experience in the hospitality and real estate sector and has led a wide range of transactional and advisory assignments, apart from having extensive experience in managing and growing relationships with global clients. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Scottish Business School, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow and has been the Chairman of the Institute of Hospitality. In January 2020, he was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of InterContinental Hotels Group PLC, an FTSE 100 company.
